Potential Shots
These are just a few test shots we took of potential locations for our film. Making up the majority of our moving image will be close ups and extreme close ups so location isn't too crucial as instead we are keen to focus on establishing characters. We wanted Freddy Sharps bedroom to be very minimalist and plain which relates to his character, being mysterious, and having severe OCD. In addition to this any props in his bedroom will be carefully placed to show that everything he does is thought out and has a place and a reason. This is to give the Freddy character some depth because initially he seems very tidy and organised but we will reveal a more chaotic and muddled character as time goes on. The second and third picture are his room. The third, fourth and fifth picture are potentially going to be June Morgans bedroom. The room is quite homely and we felt it was a blank canvas so we could add key props to the set and they would be obviously noticed, especially important because of their significance (props such as her briefcase.) The stairs will be the location for our last shots where we bring the two characters together. Before this the audience will be confused at how they link so this will be when we bring them together. Again the location is homely and quit plain which means we can add key props if we need to.
